TRESemme Style Cosmetics Bag Gift Set
I received this Tresemme style cosmetics gift set for free from Tresemme in return for an honest review. In this gift set there is four items: shampoo, conditioner, heat defence spray and hairspray. These all come in miniature size bottles that would be perfect for travel as they also come in a small bag. These can be kept together in the bag and stored away neatly or they would look good on display. This set would be perfect for that special weekend away.
Firstly, I will talk about the heat defence spray as I have actually owned this product before. This is an excellent product that I think everyone should have in their collection. I absolutely love this product as it does not leave my hair feeling sticky and horrible to the touch like some other heat defence sprays have before. I also enjoy this product as it has a pleasant smell to it so I find it more enjoyable to use on my hair. In my opinion there is nothing worse than a product that has a nasty smell to it. If a product does not have a decent smell to it then I am not likely to use it. All the Tresemme products in this set smell amazing as they all smell the same. I cannot describe what the smell is (I am just terrible with describing smells) but it is a really nice smell.
Next, I will be talking about the shampoo and conditioner from the set. I have heard good things about Tresemme shampoo and conditioner. After using the shampoo and conditioner my hair was so shiny and silky soft that I just could not help but run my hands through my hair on a regular basis. In the future I will definitely be re-purchasing this shampoo and conditioner in place of the shampoo and conditioner that I use now. This will be a permanent change in my hair products from now on.
Finally, I will talk about the hairspray. Personally, I will not be purchasing the Tresemme hairspray purely because I do not like to use hairspray. I feel that hairspray can damage the hair so I do not buy or use it. The product is amazing and if I was to use hairspray then this would definitely be the product that I would purchase over and over again. This hairspray had an excellent hold that lasted all day and it made my hair look really good and kept it all held together in the style nicely. I would definitely recommend this hairspray to anyone who takes the time and effort to put their hair into a nice style and want to keep it like that for the day. This would be a good product for anyone who styles their hair on a regular basis.
I have read many reviews and been told many good things by people that I know about the Tresemme products so when the opportunity arose for me to test some of them I was extremely excited and could not wait for the package to arrive at my door. As I previously mentioned this gift set was sent to me for review by Tresemme. After using these products I can surely confirm that I will definitely be stocking up on some of the products out of the set. Over Christmas I did try the suggested hairstyle that is instructed on the package of the set and I received many compliments about how get my hair looked and how the style suited me very well and I owe that to this gift set and Tresemme for the opportunity to try this style with their amazing products and pointers. Unfortunately I do not have pictures of the finished hairstyle as I was very busy over Christmas and by the time I thought about taking a picture I had already brushed my hair out.
Before buying these products it is important to know all there is to know about the products and how each of them would benefit your hair and/or hairstyle. It is important to know if these products work on all hair types and if not which hair types the products are best for. Before making a purchase it is important to be sure that testing a new product or set of products is the right choice for you as we wouldn't want any bad reactions to happen due to the uninformed change of hair products. To have an idea of what the product is like I suggest looking up reviews of the products so that you have an idea of what the product will do to the hair and whether the change will be good or bad. A suggestion is to look at product comparisons to see if these products are similar to any products that you have previously used and enjoyed using.
I found that these products were fun and really easy to use. The heat defence spray and hairspray were gentle on my hair and did not leave it feeling hard, dry or tacky like some hair products I have used in the past have done. Some products are not good as they do not just brush out and the Tresemme hairspray brushed out really easy for me. If you are not sure about hair products and what would work for you then this gift set may be a good basic starting point that can be built on or the products could be exchanged for another that works well with your hair.
